Virginia Ann Devlin Bolmarcich
June 22, 1944 – May 3, 2022
Virginia Bolmarcich died on Tuesday, May 3, at home in Havertown, PA, after a short illness. After attending the University of Pennsylvania (College of Women, 1966) and Women’s Medical College of Pennsylvania (1971), she worked for many years as a radiologist in the Mercy Catholic system in Philadelphia and was popularly known as “VB.” She loved baseball (even Philadelphia baseball), medical mysteries, gardening, genealogy, art, books, knitting, and cats. Preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence John Bolmarcich (1944-1997), and her parents, Lawrence and Elizabeth (McHale) Devlin, she is survived by her two daughters, Sarah and Kate (Jen).
Graveside services will be held at Hillside Cemetery in Roslyn, PA, on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 11 am.
