Virginia Terry (Hardy) Rhodewalt

Virginia Terry Rhodewalt Hardy passed peacefully on January 5, 2022 at Union Hospital In Elkton, MD.   Ginny (as she was affectionately known as) was born on November 2, 1926  to Joseph and Freda Terry.  She was retired from A.Duie Pyle where she worked for many years.  She enjoyed cross-stitching, and playing the piano.  She also enjoy baking for the monthly breakfast at Oxford Methodist Church where she was a faithful member.  She kept tract of everyone’s birthday and anniversary that she knew and never failed to send a card to commemorate.  Ginny was a regular at Nottingham Inn for her “tea to go” and Sue’s restaurant in Rising Sun, MD where she sometimes had helped to wash the dishes when they were short staffed.  She also helped out with the 49ers Chorus in West Chester for many years.

Ginny was predeceased by her Husband Bob Rhodewalt, and husband Floyd Hardy and also by her parents, two brothers,  a daughter, Martha and a granddaughter Amanda.  She is survived by her two daughters Patricia Mengel of Bel Air, MD and Barbara Radswillas of Kinzers, PA, her 7 grandchildren and 8 grandchildren.

There will be a graveside service at Oxford Cemetery at 11:00 on Friday, January 14, 2022.
