Bill was born and raised in Philadelphia. He was a “2” streeter and was involved with the Mummers from the age of 2. Bill spent 40 years with Atlantic Aviation ending his career as foreman, but his most cherished position was Sacristan at St. Bernadette’s Church. He dedicated 36 years to this position and devoted so much of his life to this church and its parishioners. Everyone who knows Bill talks about how he always made everyone smile. He always had a joke or silly face that brought laughter to all- including all of the hospital staff that cared for him. We couldn’t have asked for a better husband and father and he will be missed every day by his family and friends. His memory will live on in the hearts of all of those who loved him.
