Kenneth R. "Kenny" Morris age 55, passed away suddenly on Tuesday July 31, 2012 at his home in Oxford, PA.

Born May 1, 1957, Kenny is survived by his mother, Dolores Williamson Morris of Wilmington, DE, his sister, Sharon (Michael) Lucernoni of Landenberg, PA and his four younger brothers; Brian (Robin) and Wayne (Becky) of Lincoln University, PA, Bruce (Holly) of Wellsboro, PA, and Glenn (Brenda) of Wilmington, DE.

Ken was employed by Nowland Associates in Newark, DE and was a lifetime member of the Rough and Tumble Engineers Historical Association in Kinzer, PA. Kenny was regarded by his siblings and all who knew him as an authentic genius, with his innate ability to interpret and apply complex engineering principles. He was well-known for his technical knowledge and expertise in many diverse disciplines. Ken could literally fix anything - from an obsolete industrial generator to a hundred-year-old steam engine. His greatest satisfaction came from teaching others what he knew. Kenny also took great joy from his time spent at the "Rough and Tumble Engineers Historical Association's Steam Engine Museum" in Kinzers, PA, where Kenny spent hundreds of hours each year helping to restore the magnificent engines and equipment on display. Friends may offer their condolences Tues. Aug 14 from 6-8 at Ruffenach Family Funeral Home. Friends are also invited to attend a dedication service on Wed. August 15th, 1-3pm, during the Annual Thresherman's Reunion Event, at the Rough and Tumble Engineers Historical Association Museum in Kinzers, PA (roughandtumble.org). In lieu of flowers, donations in Ken's memory can be made to the Rough and Tumble Engineers Historical Association, c/o Wayne Morris, 10 Springhouse Lane, Lincoln University, PA 19352. Interment private at the convenience of the family.

My thoughts go out to all the family. It's ironic that Ken and I shared almost the same name. As time passes we wonder where it has gone. I have known Ken for quite some time and can remember them like yesterday.

Treasure the good times and forgive any of the not so good.

Dear Dee and Family,
We are so sorry for your loss. Although I did not know Ken, I have heard many funny and wonderful stories about him from Dee, and know that the world is a sadder place without him in it. Take care of each other and know that Ken and your family are in our thoughts.
